WWW.JAINHERITAGECENTRES.COM (JHC) is one of the popular Jain websites on the internet that is involved in propogating Jainism and the Jain Heritage Centres since May 2002. Since inception this has been a self funded project. Dr.H.A.Parshwanath one among the two founders of this site has been promoting this website since inception both monetarily and through his scholarly articles. His son Nitin H.P. who happens to be the other founder of this website has been the key person in conceptualising, designing, developing and maintaining the site. After the initial few years of promotion by Dr. Parshwanath, Nitin has also taken up the task of promoting the website through monetary contributions. It is due the efforts of these two people that JHC has been able to sustain all through the years without much hassels.
One of the key advantages JHC has over many other Jain sites is the in built talents of Dr.Parshwanath and Nitin. Dr.Parshwanath being a doctor by profession and a celebrity writer, has been able to guide the entire development of the website through his visionary thoughts and articles which many other sites lack. Adding to this, the ability of Mr. Nitin to conceptualise, design and develop the website has helped JHC to be self sustained in terms of the design and developmental costs. This has taken away the monetary burdens to a great extent. Over and above this Dr. Parshwanath and Mr.Nitin's interest to travel around and collect the required information has further contributed to its development.
In addition to the above the contribution from our team members in design and development of the site has helped to a greater extent.
However, with the paucity of time the website is growing both in terms of popularity as well as volume. This at times has prompted the team to look out for more advanced technological tools and as well as for more people to maintain the site. Inspite of all this JHC is striving hard to deliver qualitative content.
