Chennai (Tamil Nadu), 23 Dec 2009: Vegetarianism is gaining popularity of late with the rapid increase in ailments resulting from excessive non-vegetarian intake. It is a cause strongly taken up by Influence, among the finest vegetarian fine dining restaurants in Chennai. They have been propagating vegetarianism for quite some time now and have always taken it upon themselves to spread this message through various initiatives.

To take this initiative forward, Influence launched the ‘Go-Vegetarian’ moment on Sunday in the presence of Mr. Naresh Jain and Ms. Varsha Jain, the promoters of Influence Restaurant and Spa and other prominent personalities from Chennai. Prominent Bollywood-Kollywood actress Neetu Chandra, who is championing this cause, graced the occasion with her presence and launched the ‘Green Card’, a vegetarianism membership card for like-minded people who have chosen to go vegetarian. The card would entitle the dinner to a discount of 15% on the total bill at the restaurant and spa.
