Main Deity- Idol of bhagawan Parshwanatha in the Kayotsarga posture.
History- The bhagwan Prahwanatha Jain temple here is very ancient and the idol of Parshwanatha (11 and 12C AD) is a unique of its kind. Devotees from diffrent parts of Karnataka visit this place. Along with the idol of bhagwan Parshwanatha we can find many other Jain idols.
Guidance- Penukonda is situated in the Ananthpur district of Andhra. Good transport facilities are available to this place from Ananthpur. The boarding and lodging facilities are available at the Dharmashala inside the compound of the temple.
