The idol of the main deity Sri Mahavira Bhagawan and other idols were installed on the sixth day of the bright half of the month of Magh in the year 2035 of the Vikram era. In the Shankheshvar tirth, there are many other great and spectacular idols. In this temple, there are 42 idols besides that of the main deity. The 45 Agams inscribed in the Prakrit language on copper plates are displayed on the walls of the passage meant for going round the temple. Behind the temple we can find a Siddhachakra in the shape of a lotus. We can also find the idols of Guru Gautam Swami and Bhagawan Sudharma Swami. Agams elaborately explain the essence of the Jain religion.
