Zagadiya

The inscriptions besides the idols reveals that they belong to the year 1200 of the Vikram era. They were installed by the king Rana  Shri Gambhirsinhji in the month of Magh in the year 1928 of the Vikram era and the temple was renovated by the Sangha in the year 1959 of the Vikram era.

The temple has very interesting history behind it. It is said that the idol was got during the land excavation. The Shravakas of the village had asked Rana to give them the idols as a reply  Rana told that it was not fair to ask the idols. He promised to construct a Jain temple instead. This lead to the construction of the temple. The summits of the temple and the outer arched gate are attractive.
