Bidar

    History – There is a small and historical temple dating back to 10 to 15 centuries AD at this place. We can find the idols of Chandraprabha in the padmasana posture made out of marble; Bhagwan Padamparbha in Kayotsarga posture is made of Panchdhatu; Nine hooded idol of Parshvanatha in the padmasana posture is made from marble and other idols of Kshetrapal and Devi Padmavati. We can also find the statue of Bhagwan Rishabdev of 10 century AD in Bidar Museum.

    How to Reach – Bidar is 50 Kms from Humnabad. Bidar is 116 Kms from Gulbarga. Bidar is also connected with Secundrabad. The nearest Airport is Hyderabad and is at a distance of 136 kms from it.
