    History – The Adinatha temple here which was in a mutilated form has been renovated and the Pancha Kalyana Pratishta Mahotsav was held on 30-03-1983.The idol of Sri Vardhamana Mahavera, the most valuable idol of Sarwahna yaksha of Sri Nemitirthanka with a dharmachakra in his hand and a n idol of vidyadevatha are also found.

    Another Jain temple in Dharwad is found at the Sanmathi Vidyarthi Nilaya. Here the temple has Vardhamana Mahavira as the main Diety.There is also a swethambara Jain Temple at Dharwad.also we can find the numerous Jaina idols of the 11th and the 12th century at the Museum in the Kannada Research Institute of Dharwad University.

    How to Reach – Dharwad is 21 Kms from Hubli and 80 Kms from Belguam. The boarding facilities at Dharwad are very good and arrangements will be made for travelers at the Sanmathi Vidyarthi Nilaya.
