    History – This place found its importance because the Yapaniya sangha of Digambara asceticism was living here in about 500 A.D. The idol of Sri Shanthinatha is made out of white marble. This idol occoupies the main pedestal of the temple.Also are found the idols of other Tirthankaras and a carving of the chavvisa Tirthankara.

    How to Reach – The bus facilities to this place are available from Hubli and Dharwad.
