Gudibande

    History – We can find two Jain temples at this place. They include the temple of Bhagawan Parshwanatha and the temple of Bhagawan Chandranatha. The Parshwanatha temple is said to be have been constructed around A.D.1190 here we can find the stone idol of Parshwanatha in the kayotsarga posture. The Chandranatha temple is also very ancient and we can find the white coloured idol of Bhagawan chandranatha in the kayotsarga posture. Both of these temples belong to the archaeology department and the only source of income to the temples is Rs. 450 given by the department of archeology.

    How to Reach – Gudibande is located in the Kolar district and has got good bus conveyance from Kolar and Bengaluru.

    Accommodation Facilities – Accommodation facilities are available at the rooms and halls besides the temple.
