Hosaholalu

    History – This temple is said to have been constructed in the year 1118 AD with the temple being constructed being fully of stone. Though once this place was one of the chief centres, now we can find only three jain families residing here.

    How to Reach – Hosaholalu is situated in the Krishnarajapet taluk of Mandya District of Karnataka. It has got good transport facilities from Mandya and K.R.Pet.

    Main Deity – Black coloured idol of Baghawan Parshwanatha.

    Deities in the Temple – In Navaranga of the temple are found the idols of Dharanendra Yaksha and Padmavarti Yakshi. The idol of Goddess Padmvati in Abhaya Hasta is a special feature.
