Mugudha

    History – There is a mutilated stone inscription lying in front of the shrine. It belongs to the period of Kalyana Chalukyan Someshwara I(1045 A.D.).This important inscription tells about the construction of a drama theatre during this period.

    How to Reach – This place is about 10 Kms from Dharwad.Good bus convinence is available from dharwad.

    Main Deity – The idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha in the standing posture. In addition to the idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha , in the temple are found the Jain idols of different proportions and an idol of Godess Padmavathi Devi.
