Navalur

    History – It is a hamlet situated near Dharwad possesses a small temple. Paramapujya 108 Sri Atibala Maharaj the Jain saint raised from this place. This place is very famous for its delicious mangoes.

    How to Reach – This place is about 5 kms from Dharwad along the Pune Bangalore national highway.Good city bus facility is available from Dharwad.

    Temple Name – Sri Adinatha Jain Temple.

    History – The main temple is situated in the first floor of the building. It has a white coloured about 3 feet high marble idol of Lord Adinath in padmasana as the main deity. Along with this many other small Jain idols can also be seen in the main vedhi. To the right of the main vedhi is installed the idol of Goddess Padmavathi and to its left is found the idol of Sri Brahma Yaksha or Kshetrapala.
