    History – We can find 3 Jain temples at Pavagiri. The idols found in these temples are very attractive The temples and the idols are said to belong to the 11 and 12th century A.D.  Many Jain ascetics like Muni Swargbhdra have attained salvation from this place. The Shantinath (gwaleshwar) temple is at a distance of 2 Kms from PAvagiri. Apart from this we can find five temples built on small hillocks known as the Panch Pahadi.

    How to Reach – Pavagiri is situated at a distance of 145 kms from Indore via Badvani and 104 Kms from Khandava via Khargoan. The boarding and lodging facilities are available in the Dharmashala at Pavagiri.

    Main Deity – Idol of Bhagwan Shantinatha.
