Main Deity- about three feet high white coloured idol of Bhagawan Mahavira in the padmasana posture.

History- This temple was constructed during the 12th century the period of Hoysala's. Along with the idol of bhagawan Mahavira we can find the idol of Sahasrakuta Tirthankaras which is a unique of its kind. We can also find many other small Jain idols. The temple was renovated recently in the early part of 1990's and the panchakalyanak was conducted under the guidance of his holiness Parama Pujya Muni Sri 108 Shambhavanandi Maharaj.

 

Guidance- Adaguru is a small village situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Hassan. Good boarding and lodging facilities are available at the yatrinivas besides the temple. Also there is a muninivas constructed for the jainascetics. Good transport facility is available to this place from Hassan.
