ARETIPPURU

Main Deity - Idol of Bhagawan Bahubali in the kayotsarga.

History - Aretippuru is a small village found in the Mandya district of Karnataka. We can find a ruined temple of Bhagawan Bahubali here that is said to be built in the year A.D. 1117. Apart from this we can find two hills located opposite to each other with a water tank in between them. This organisation of the hills of Aretippur  reminds us of the organisation at Shravanabelagola.

Guidance - Aretippur is situated in the Mandya district of Karnataka and has got good transport facilities from Mandya.
