Main Deity - About 14 feet idol of Bhagwan Bahubali in the Kayotsarga posture.

 

History - The idol of Bahubali was erected by a person named Punasimiah who was a general of the Hoysala king Vishnuvardhana. Many Hoysala inscriptions of the year 1147 A.D.  reveals this fact. Along with this we can also find an artistic temple of Bhagwan Parshwanatha of the Hoysala period which is in a mutilated state. We can also see many small idols of other Jain Gods which have been scattered here and there surrounding the temple.

 

Guidance - This place is situated in the Krishnarajapet taluk of the Mandy district and is at a distance of 12 Kms form it.Boarding facilities are available at Krishnarajapet.
