Deity-Nearly 3 feet 6 inches high black coloured idol of Bhagawan Chintamani
Parshwanatha in the Padmasana posture.
History- This history of this place belongs to a period earlier that the
tenth century. There are some ruins of the Gupta age. They prove the antiquity
of this place. The ancient name of this place was Toran. It is said that it was
changed into the present name during the Muslim rule. This temple was renovated
many times. The last renovation was accomplished by Shri Unhel sanga in the year
1700 of the Vikram era. On certain nights, muscial sounds of songs are heard at
night. It is said that if small lamps are waved before the idol by way of
worship. Sometimes nectar flows out of God’s eyes. On either sides of the idols
of Bhagawan Parshwanatha the idols of Indra with a snake’s hood is found which
canout be found elsewhere. People believe that on visiting this place they can
fulfill their wishes
Guidance-the nearest railway station is at a distance of 10 kilometers from the temple and Ujjain is at a distance of 40 kilometers from this temple. The Nagda Town is nearby. Bus service and private vehicles are available.
