Jayachandra Represents Jainism at the Interfaith Deepawali Celebrations

    Bangalore (Karnataka), November 17, 2013: Noted Jain & Prakrit scholar Sri M.A.Jayachandra represented Jainism at the high profile interfaith deepawali celebrations organised by Arch Bishop Bernard Moras in Bangalore. Speaking on the occasion Sri Jayachandra spoke about the importance of Deepawali in Jainism, Jain prayers and the Jains way of conduct.

    This event was attended very high profile guests and spiritual leaders from different comunities, these include –  state home minister K J George; state minister for minority affairs Qamarul Islam; union minister for minority affairs Sri K. Rehman Khan; spiritual leader Sri Ravishankar Guruji; Sri Shivarudra Mahaswami of Sri Beli Math, Swami Shanthimayananda of Ramakrishna Mission, Sikh priest, Parsee High Priest and chief Maulana, Jamia Masjid, Bangalore.
