Jumbo-sized bag makes it to Limca book

Nashik (Maharashtra), April 6, 2012: A jumbo-sized bag prepared by the City-based Jain Social Group, carrying Bhagwan Mahavir’s message, has made it to the Limca Book of Record. The jumbo 1200-metre cloth bag (carry bag), 108 x 54 feet in size using 120 kg of fabric colour and 37 kms long thread carrying Bhagwan Mahavir’s message and thoughts written on it was displayed yesterday on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti and went into the record book, Sachin Shah, president of Jain Social Group said. – News Courtesy: PTI
