Lord Mahavir Temple’s Panchakalyana at Ugar Budruk

    Ugar Budruk (Athani Taluk, Belgaum District, Karnataka), May 1, 2013: Ugar Budruk one of the Jain tirths in Karnataka known after Goddess Padmavati is all set to witness a Panchakalyana and a Dhama Samprokshana Programme.

    Panchakalyana at Mahavir Temple – The panchakalyana of the newly built temple in the Mahavir Nagar area of the town will be held from 13-17 May, 2013. The Panchakalyana pratishta mahotsava of the white coloured marble idol of Lord Mahavir will be held under the guidance of His Holiness Swasti Sri laksmisena Bhattaraka Swamiji of Kolhapur Jain Math & His Holiness Swasti Sri Dhavalakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Arihantagiri Jain Math. Acharya 108 Sri Tapasagarji Maharaj & Aryika 105 Sri Saraswati Mataji will also grace the occasion.

    Below are given the details of the programme schedule –

    • May 13th, 2013 – Garbha Kalyana.
    • May 14th, 2013 – Janma Kalyana.
    • May 15th, 2013 – Diksha Kalyana.
    • May 16th, 2013 – Moksha Kalyana.
    • May 17th, 2013 – Kevala Gnana Kalyana.

    Dhamasamprokshana Pooja at Neminath Temple – The dhamasamprokshana pooja of the renovated temple in the centre of Ugar Budruk town will be held on 11th, 12th & 13th May, 2013. The dhamasamprokshana pooja of the black coloured padmasana idol of Lord Neminath will be held under the guidance of His Holiness Swasti Sri Lakshmisena of Kolhapur Jain Math. Acharya 108 Sri Tapasagarji Maharaj will also grace the occasion.

    Ugar Budruk is located at a distance of around 115 Kms from the district centre Belgaum & 45 Kms from the nearest taluk centre Athani.
