Ahmedabad (Gujarat), July 26, 2012: A book by a Jain spiritual leader that contains his hard-hitting discourses on religion is all set to enter the Limca Book of Records.

With the aim of spreading awareness among youth about the principles of the Digambar Jain saint Munishree Tarunsagar Maharaj, his popular book ‘Kadve Pravachan’ will gain an entry into the Limca Book of Records on Saturday as the largest book in India.A team from Limca Book of Records will examine the book at an event in the city.

The book is made of flax and iron rods and has been created by 10 members of the Kranti Manch. The height of the book has been kept at 25 feet to commemorate the silver jubilee of Tarunsagar Maharaj’s diksha.

Jain said creating the 20-page book required 4,000 sq ft of iron pipes, 8,500 sq ft of flax material and 40 litres of colour.
The book is a replica of the popular book ‘Kadve Pravachan’ by the maharaj. Jain stated the book was released in Ahmedabad in 2003, and more than seven lakh copies of the book are in the market.

The book will be brought to the city on Friday, and on Saturday morning, the book will be presented to the public and the team of Limca Book of Records.
