Panchakalyana Mahaotsava at Srirangapatna from December 5-7, 2013

    Srirangapatna Panchakalyana

    Srirangapatna (Mandya District, Karnataka), November 1, 2013: The Panchakalyana pratishta mahotsava of the chaturmukha idol of Lord Adinath to be installed on the manastambha at the ancient Sri Adinath Swamy Digambar Jain temple, Srirangapatna from December 5-7, 2013. The procedings of the Panchakalyana will be held under the guidance of His Holiness Swasti Sri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Kanakagiri Jain Math.

    Below is given a detailed programme schedule of the Panchakalyana:

    Thursday, December 5, 2013 – Garbavatharana Kalyana

    • 6:30 am – Nitya Pooja, Dharmachara Pooja, Indra Pratishtae, Kankana Bandana, Nandi Mangala, Shuddhi Homa along with MahaPunyahavachana, Pre-Panchakalyana rituals.
    • 8:30 am – Panchamrutha Abhisheka
    • 9:15 am – Hoisting of the flag
    • 9:20 am – Lighting the lamp, Kalasha Sthapana, Cahturdiksha Homa along with Dhama Samprokshane, Castu Shanti, Navagraha Shanti Aradhana.
    • 1:00 pm – Yagamandala Aradhana.
    • 6:00 pm – Collecting Mrutthika, Ankurarpane.
    • 7:00 pm – Garbavatharana Kalyana.

    Friday, December 6, 2013 – Janma and Diksha Kalyana

    • 6:30 am – Jalayatra Mahotsava
    • 7:00 am – Panchamrutha Abhisheka
    • 8:05 am – Janma Kalyana
    • 10:00 am – Bhaktamara Aradhana, Shodashopachara Pooja to Dharanendra Yaksha & Padmavati Yakshi
    • 12:15 pm – Janma abhisheka on Pandukashila, Namakarana, Balaleela Utsava
    • 4:30 pm – Rajya Abhisheka, Nilanjana Dance, Vairagya Bhavana, Arrival of Loukantika Deva.
    • 5:30 pm – Diksha Kalyna followed by evening Arati and Jaap

    Saturday, December 7, 2013 – Kevalajnana and Moksha Kalyana

    • 6:30 am – Jalayatra Mahotsava
    • 7:00 am – Panchamrutha Abhisheka
    • 8:30 am – Ikshurasa Ahara Vidhi to Sri Adinath Muni
    • 10:45 am – Kevalajnana Kalyana, Mantra Vinyasa Vidhi
    • 12:30 pm onwards – Chaturmukha Jina Bimba Sthapana; Kalasha sthapana on Shikara, Samavasarana Pooja, Moksha Kalyana Pooja along with Siddhachakra Aradhana, Maha Abhisheka Pooja, Padmavathi vidhana along with Kalaropani of Dharanendra Yaksha and Padmavati Yakshi.
    • 2:00 pm – Religious gathering, discourse by Holiness Swasti Sri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji, Arati & Japa.
    • 4:00 pm – Hoisting the flag, Sangha pooja, Kankana Visarjana, Sri Vihara Rathotsava, Avabrutha Snana, Vasanthotsava.
