Jamanpur

    History – Vastupal’s son, Jaitrasinh built this city in the name of his wife, Jamandevi. The history of this place dates back to the times earlier than the thirteenth century. The last renovation and formal reinstallation of the idol were accomplished the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh in the year 1964 of the Vikram era. On the girdle of the main idol of Bhagawan, there is a mention that the temple was constructed in the year 1126 of the Vikram era.

    How to Reach – Jamanpur is at a distance of 8 Kms from Harij. Dharmashala and Bhojanashalas are available in this place.

    Main Deity – 17 inches high, white colored idol of Bhagawan Chandraprabha in the Padmasana posture.
