Karnavathi

    History – This ancient idol of Bhagawan Sankeshwar Parshwanatha was first present in the house of Sri Maganlal Karamchand. It is said that the musical notes were heard here at night. The present temple was built by the Sri Anandji Kalyanji trust on the first day of the dark half of the month of Vaishak in the year 2023 of the Vikram era. The trust brought this idol to the temple of Bhagawan Dharmanatha in Panjarapole in the year 2015 of the Vikram era and was installed under the auspicies of Acharya Udhaysuri Maharaj Saheb and Nandansuri Maharaj Saheb. In this temple, there are idols of Bhagawan Adinatha, Bhagwan Shantinatha, Dharanendra yaksha and Godess Padmavatidevi. In this place we can find 350 to 400 pinnacled temples of various sanghs and also temples in residential places.

    How to Reach – The temple is situated in the Gheekanta locality in the Karnavathi city. This temple is at a distance of 3 Kms from the railway station.

    Main Deity – About 21 inches high white colored idol of Parikarayukta Bhagawan Sankeshwar Parshwanatha in the Padmasana posture.
