Ranila

History – An idol of Bhagwan Adinatha with other 23 Tirthankars carved on it was found by a farmer called Ranjith Singh in his fields during the land excavation process at Ranila on 18th October 1991. An idol of Goddess Chakreshwari, Yakshi of Tirthankar Adinath was also found here. This has been developed by Sri Adinath Digambar Jain Tirth Kshetra committee. Owing to the absence of inscription it is difficult to comment on its actual period. However, experts opine that the idol might be around 1,400 to 1,500 years old.
