Anagola

    History – We can find two Jain temples at Anagola, both of these temples are dedicated to Bhagawan Adinatha. One of these temples has the white coloured idol of Adinatha in the padmasana and was constructed in the year 1592 A.D., it is popularly called as the Dodda Basadi among the people. Another temple is situated in the Karandikar Galli, it was constructed in the year 1842. It has the black coloured idol of Bhagawan Adinatha in the padmasana, recently a white coloured new idol of Adinatha in the padmasana was also installed in this temple.

    How to Reach – Anagola situated in the Belgaum district of Karnataka has good bus facilities from Belgaum.
