Kuchhangi

    Main Deity – Black coloured stone idol of Bhagawan Parshwanatha in the kayotsarga posture.

    History – The temple is very ancient and was constructed in the year A.D. 1180. The earlier temple was in a mutilated state, hence it was demolished and reconstructed with the renovation works completed on 5th February 1968.

    Guidance – Kuchhangi / Kuchangi is situated at a distance of 13 kms to the North of Tumkur and has got good transport facilities from Tumkur.
