Bhojpur

    History – The history of the temple at Bhojpur dates back to A.D. 1101 the period of Bhoj dynasty. It is said that this idol was installed during this period. It is believed that Acharya Sri Manatungacharya had meditated in this place and has attained nirvan from this place. The surrounding ever green hills has increased the beauty of the place. The Shaiva temple at Bhojpur is very famous.

    How to Reach – Bhojpur is at a distance of 30 Kms from Bhopal. Lodging and boarding facilities are available in the dharamshala at Bhojpur.

    Main Deity – 22 feet 6 inches high idol of Bhagwan Shantinatha.
