History – There are many stories associated with this place, these stories tell us about the various miracles that have taken place. Even to this day many miracles are seen at Parasali. Just to mention a few, it is said that a person by name Rameshvarji regained his eye sight by using the water that was used to wash the idol. It is said that the shortage of food that is supplied every day to the pilgrims is fulfilled by the divine power of the idol of Bhagawan Adinatha. It is said that during the famine in the year 1956 of the Vikrama era the priest worshipping the idol of Bhagawan Adinatha used to get a silver coin regularly. Influenced by the miracles many people visit this place to fulfill their wishes. Every year a fair is held on the eighth day and the ninth day of the bright half of the month of Falguna. There is an inscription which tells that this idol was installed under the auspices of Udaysagarji in the year 688 of the Vikram era. A temple of Bhagawan Shantinath and a Dadawadi are found near this temple. In the Dadawadi, we can find the idols of Ratnaprabh Surishvarji and Jinakushal Surishvarji.
How to Reach – The temple is situated in the Parasali village. Shyamgarh is at a distance of 11 kilometers from Parasali on the Kota-Ratlam road. Boarding and lodging facilities are available at Shamgarh.
Main Deity – Nearly 31 inches high, white coloured idol of Bhagawan Adinatha in the Padmasana posture.
