Amalner

    History – The idol of Girua Parshwanatha is about 500 years old and the temple was built by Sri Sangha arround the year 1920 of the vikrama era. The temple was later renovated in the year 2007 of the vikrama era under the guidance of Acharya Vijayashodevji. The hoods on the Parshwanatha idol were ruined in the due course of time and were replaced with eleven new hoods. The idol of Shamaliya Parshwanatha in the main God of the temple on the ground floor and the idol of Girua Parshwantha is the main God in the temple present on the first floor. This temple was built due to the intrest by many shravakas in Maharashtra.Apart from this we can find three Jain temples in this place.

    How to Reach – This temple is on the Surat-Bhusaval railway line. This tirth of Amalner, is at a distance of two kilometers from the main railway station, at a distance of 55 kilometers from Jalgaon and at a distance of 29 kilometers from Dhulia. Bus service and private vehicles are available. Boarding and lodging provisions are available near the temple. Moreover, there are Upashrays an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar.

    Main Deity – Nearly 1 feet high, black-colored idol of Bhagawan Girua Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.
