Basavakalyana

    History – This place was the capital of Jain Kings. The fort constructed by Chalukya kings is full of Jaina Images on the walls. A meuseum is also housed in this fort. The Jain idols here belong to the 10 and 11 century AD.There is a ancient ruined jain temple near jama masjid in the market.

    How to Reach – This place is 28 Kms from Humnabad. The temple is 6 Kms to the town of Basavkalayan.
