Badrinath

    History – It is said that the idol of Bhagwan Badrinath is the idol of Bhagwan Adinatha. Devotees could have the nirvan Darshan in the morning during abhisek. Besides this the temple of Bhagwan Adinath is known as mata murti mandir and on the hill on the way to Neelkanth about 2 Kms, one could see the foot prints of Bhagwan Adinath. A Digamabara jain dharamshala with charan of 24 tirthanakara was also recently constructed here.

    How to Reach – Badrinath is 296 Kms from Rishikesh.  The yatri may contact jain dharamshala near chandrabhaga Bridge on Haridwar Road ‘Raj Laxmi Bhavan’ for stay at rishikesh and necessary arrangements for visit to Badrinath. Rishikesh is 225 Kms from delhi and is well known religious center.
