Gudigeri

    History – Gudigeri is a village found near Lakshmeshwara the place much adorned by Mahakavi Pampa.There is an ancient Jain temple here in which . An inscription (1078 A.D.)found here tells about the donation made by the Kunkuma Mahadevi to the Anesajje Basadi.In addition to the idol of Mahavera also are found the other Jain idols belonging to the 11 century.

    How to Reach – This place is about 12 Kms from Hubli. And good bus facilities and private vehicles are available for convinience.

    Main Deity – Idol of Vardhamana Mahvira.
