Haliyangala

    History – Among the two Jain temples at Haliyangali the Adinath temple built in the year 1940 A.D. has the stone idol of Bhagawan Adinath in the kayotsarga. The shrutahandar, muni nivas adn swadhyay mandir are seen in the premises of this temple, this temple is popularly called as dodda basadi. The other temple of Bhagawan Parshwanath is called as Chickka basadi. The exact date of construction of this temple is not known. It has the stone idol of Bhagawan Adinath in the padmasana.

    How to Reach – Haliyangala is situated in the Jamakandi taluk of Bagalkot district of Karnataka and has good bus facilities from Jamakandi and Bagalkot.

    Main Deity – Idols of Bhagawan Parshwanath and Adinath.
