Midigeshi

    History – The ancient Bhagawan Suparshwanatha Jain temple at Midigeshi has the idol of Yaksha Brahmadeva and a stone edict found in the surroundings of the temple tells us some historical aspects of the temple. A guest house has been built here in the year 2002 on the occasion of the 2600th Mahavira Janma Kalyan. Every year a grand Pooja Mahotsav is conducted.

    How to Reach – Midigeshi is being situated in the Madhugiri taluk in the Tumkur district of Karnataka. It has got good transport facilities from Tumkur and Madhugiri. The boarding and lodging facilities are available in the temple premises.

    Main Deity – Stone idol of Bhagawan Suparshwanatha in the kayotsarga posture.
