Agra (Uttar Pradesh), June 5, 2015: Starting June end, people will be able to go on a virtual tour of 20 Jain temples across the city from the comfort of their homes using Google Maps. According to officials working on the project, one can take a 360 degree view of the temple`s interior and also post comments and photos. K C Jain, a Jain community leader, said, “There is a strong Jain community of more than 25,000 people and around 85 temples of the two sects – Shwetambar and Digambar in the city.
Few of them are 400 to 500 years old. Tourists visiting the city also come to these temples. We were inspired to go ahead with it after Taj Mahal was covered. – News Courtesy: nyoooz.com
