Bagalkot

    History – We can find two Jain temples at this place. The Digamabar jain temple of Bhagwan Parsvanath is of 10CAD. The idol of Bhagwan Parshwanatha here is about 3 feet high in the Kayotsarga posture. An idol of Dharender Yaksha is also installed in the temple. Apart from this there are idols of Bhagwan Adinath and Bahubali and a Chakra with images of nine Dev:- Arihant- Sidhha-Acharaya- Upadhyaya-sadhu- Jindevta- Jinvani- Jindharama – Jinmandir. The Shwetambara temple is situated on Belgaum Road in Bagalkot.

    How to Reach – Bagalkot being a district centre is situated at a distance of 90 Kms from Gujarath and 140 Kms from Belguam.

    Main Deity – Idol of Bhagwan Parshwanatha.
